A Massachusetts health system is seeking a RNFA Acute Care Adult Gero Nurse Practitioner to join their organization in western Massachusetts. Position Highlights -Join their cardiac OR team at the Medical Center in Springfield, MA. The team consists of 5 experienced APPs who collaborate closely with the cardiac surgeons. Over 750 heart surgeries and 300 TAVRs are completed at BMC annually in the 3 state-of-the-art ORs equipped with the latest imaging technology. Their service offers the full gamut of adult cardiac surgical procedures including durable implantable ventricular assist devices, temporary circulatory support platforms and ECMO. Participate in pre-op evaluation of cardiac surgical patients, intraoperative care, and post-op care in conjunction with critical care APPs, intensivists and cardiac surgeons. Experience and expertise in a comprehensive multidisciplinary collegial evaluation of preop patients and 1st assist responsibilities including endoscopic vein and radial artery harvesting is required.
Qualifications: Acute Care Adult Gero Nurse Practitioner Certification, Massachusetts RN and APRN Licenses
