90499 - If you are a Nurse Practitioner with Psychiatric training, experience and clinical expertise in working with adult patients with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ASD, consider joining the Department of Psychiatry Outpatient Clinic team of this leading academic medical center in Pennsylvania. Nurse Practitioners provide age and developmentally appropriate comprehensive evaluation and treatment tailored for each unique adult with ASD with the goal of managing their disorders and improving their quality of life.
Obtain patient histories
Conduct initial evaluations and screenings for ASD
Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests and procedures
Collect data and documentation
Develop and monitor plans of care
Prescribe and monitor medications
Provide ongoing outpatient treatment for ASD patients and their families
Two years of work as a CRNP, required
Current CRNP license in Pennsylvania, required
Prescriptive Authority in Pennsylvania, required
Demonstrated effective consultation skills, required
NP certification in Psychiatry, preferred
Excellent time management skills, preferred
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, preferred
