90155 - We currently have several opportunities for experienced Nurse Practitioners to join the Hematology Oncology team at a leading academic medical center and its various satellite locations in the Mid-Atlantic region of the U.S. where patients receive the latest therapies and treatment for cancer and blood disorders. The Nurse Practitioner in this role is skilled in assessment, diagnosis, and management of illness in the hematology oncology patient, and is responsible for the direct care and clinical management of adult cancer patients in the inpatient and outpatient settings. This is a full time 8 hour position with no weekends or call.

Responsibilities for the Nurse Practitioner job:
Obtain patient histories
Perform physical examinations
Order, perform and interpret diagnostic and therapeutic tests and procedures
Prescribe pharmacologic and nonpharmacologic interventions
Perform therapeutic or corrective measures to treat conditions
Provide education and support for patients and their families
Collaborate with the oncology and healthcare teams to provide superior care
Participate in research programs, including design, implementation and interpretation
Qualifications for the Nurse Practitioner job:
Current CRNP licensure in the State of Pennsylvania
Current CRNP national board certification
Current CPR certification
