90418 - If you have your Bachelor's Degree in Nursing with NICU, PICU and/or CICU clinical experience in a children's hospital, there is an exciting opportunity at this leading academic children's hospital for a Clinical Practice Manager on their medical transport team. The Manager of Transport partners with the Transport Program Manager, medical leadership and the ICU departments to facilitate the transfer of critically ill and injured children requiring immediate transport from one medical facility to another. The Manager in Transport is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Transport team.
Manage, schedule, monitor and evaluate Transport department staff
Supervise and direct daily shift operations and transport services
Implement processes ensuring compliance with patient safety and regulatory requirements
Assist in the design and implementation of team training and continuing education
Monitor and evaluate performance to achieve quality outcomes
Manage operations and capital budgets
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN), required, MSN, preferred
Current Washington State RN License, required
Current PALS and NRP certifications, required
Minimum of 5 years of NICU, PICU and/or CICU experience in a children's hospital setting, required
Management, educator and charge nurse experience, preferred
Certification in critical care or transport, preferred
