This CRNA job includes pre-op assessment, anesthesia administration and patient monitoring during surgical procedures, and post-op care during patient recovery from anesthesia.

Responsibilities of the CRNA job:
Conduct pre-anesthetic patient assessment and evaluation
Obtain required informed consent for anesthesia
Order and administer pre-anesthetic medications
Administer anesthesia, monitor vital signs, and evaluate patient status throughout the surgical procedure
Facilitate emergence and recovery from anesthesia with appropriate medications, fluids, and ventilation support until patient is moved to the PACU, another hospital unit, or discharged
Respond to emergencies with airway management, emergency fluids and medications, and basic or advanced cardiac life support techniques
Accurately document pertinent anesthesia information in the patient's electronic medical record
Assist in maintenance of anesthesia equipment and supplies
Participate in department quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives
Qualifications for the CRNA job:
Current Florida RN license
Current Florida Advanced Practice Registered Nurse license
Current certification from the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists
Current BLS and PALS certifications
Current ACLS certification, preferred
