Responsibilities the Manager of NPs and PAs Job:
Provide hands-on patient care in the Hematology Oncology Department
Recruit, hire, and retain qualified Advanced Practice Clinician staff
Coordinate staff scheduling and deployment of APC staff
Monitor staff performance and provide effective training and educational opportunities for staff development
Ensure the orientation program leads to the effective onboarding of new staff members
Implement short and long term goals that maximize Hematology Oncology patient care efficiencies and productivity
Maintain current knowledge of compliance and regulatory standards
Be a mentor and role model for advanced practice nursing excellence
Qualifications for the Manager of NPs and PAs Job:
Current active licensure to practice in Pennsylvania, required
Progressive leadership skills and supervisory experience, preferred
Well-versed in the licensure, scope of practice, certification and training requirements of advanced practice providers, required
Knowledge of policies and practices related to recruitment, work standards, and performance, required
