Responsibilities for the Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Job:
Conduct comprehensive patient status assessments
Order appropriate treatments, therapies, and procedures
Evaluate and document progress and communicate it to other Trauma team members
Educate patients and families regarding progress
Arrange for referrals and consultations when indicated
Initiate and manage discharge plans
Provide professional development and education opportunities for Trauma staff
Participate in department performance improvement and quality initiatives
Qualifications Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Job:
Current Acute Care Nurse Practitioner certification in Pennsylvania, required
National Acute Care Nurse Practitioner certification, required
Nurse Practitioner Trauma experience, required
